The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear you who believe in Our revelations and surrender themselves to Us. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
