The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
44 verses, revealed in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
A questioner asked about a Penalty to befall- 1 Upon the infidels -- which none would be able to repel -- 2 [since it will come] from God, unto whom there are many ways of ascent: 3 The angels and Jibreel, ascend towards Him the punishment will befall on a day which spans fifty thousand years. 4 So be patient (O Muhammad SAW), with a good patience. 5 They see it [the Day of Judgement] to be far off, 6 but We see it near at hand. 7 On the Day the sky will be like murky oil, 8 And the mountains will be like wool, 9 And no friend inquires after friend 10 though they are in sight of each other. To ransom himself from the punishment of that Day, the sinner will wish that he might even ransom himself by his sons, 11 His wife and his brother, 12 And his kin that harboured him 13 and whosoever is in the earth, altogether, so that it might save him. 14 By no means! For the raging flames of the fire 15 A remover of exteriors. 16 It shall claim him who turned and fled (from truth), 17 and amassed wealth and covetously hoarded it. 18 ۞ Human beings are created greedy. 19 When they are afflicted, they complain, 20 And when good toucheth him he is begrudging. 21 Except those who pray, 22 Those who are constant in their prayer 23 And those in whose wealth there is a fixed portion. 24 For him who begs and for him who is denied (good) 25 And those who testify to the Day of Requital. 26 And those who fear the torment of their Lord, 27 surely the chastisement of their Lord is a thing none can feel secure from 28 And those who of their private parts are guards. 29 Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess-- for these surely are not to be blamed, 30 whereas such as seek to go beyond that [limit] are truly transgressors; 31 And those who protect the property entrusted to them, and their agreements. 32 And those who are upright in their testimonies, 33 and who take due care of their Prayer: 34 It is these who will be honoured in Gardens. 35

Notes and Instructions
اقرأ القرآن الكريم كله ملونا بالكامل، حيث تولد ألوان وأشكال الصفحات بشكل عشوائي تماما بحيث لا يتكرر التركيب نفسه مرتين.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
