Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the racers, panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
