▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
