The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
