Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
