۞ Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." 53 Turn to your Lord and submit to Him before His scourge overtakes you, for then you shall not be helped. 54 Follow the best of what is revealed to you from your Lord before the torment suddenly approaches you and you will not realize how it came about. 55 Turn to God in repentance before a soul says, "Woe to me because of my failure to fulfill my duties to God. Woe to me for mocking God's guidance!" 56 Or should say: If Allah had but guided me I should have been among the dutiful! 57 Or (so that no soul) may say when it beholds the punishment, “If only I may be sent back, so that I may do good deeds!” 58 Aye! My communications came to you, but you rejected them, and you were proud and you were one of the unbelievers. 59 And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah [with] their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant? 60 God will save the pious ones because of their virtuous deeds. No hardship will touch them nor will they be grieved. 61 Allah is Creator of all things, and He is Guardian over all things. 62 In His hands are the keys of the treasuries of the heavens and the earth. Those who reject God's revelations will be lost. 63
