Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 storming tempestuously 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 For a known term? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 as black camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
