It is not your wealth and children that will bring you closer to Us, except those who believe and do the right. These will be given a two-fold reward for their deeds, and will dwell in peace in the high empyrean. 37 But those who labor to negate Our verses shall be arraigned in to the punishment. 38 Say: "Behold, my Sustainer grants abundant sustenance, or gives it in scant measure, unto whomever He wills of His servants; and whatever it be that you spend on others, He [always] replaces it: for He is the best of providers." 39 And (remember) the Day when He will gather them all together, and then will say to the angels: "Was it you that these people used to worship?" 40 They (angels) will say: "Glorified be You! You are our Wali (Lord) instead of them. Nay, but they used to worship the jinns; most of them were believers in them." 41 today ye own not for one another either benefit or hurt. And We shall say unto those who did wrong: taste the torment of the Fire which ye were wont to belie. 42 And when they are rehearsed unto them Our plain revelations, they say: this messenger is naught but as a man who seeketh to prevent you from that which your fathers have been worshipping. And they say: this message is naught but a fraud fabricated. And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it is come unto them: this is naught but manifest magic. 43 Yet We have not given them any Books to study, nor, before you, have We sent them a warner. 44 And those before them rejected (the truth), and these have not yet attained a tenth of what We gave them, but they gave the lie to My apostles, then how was the manifestation of My disapproval? 45
