The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
