The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 2 The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace, 3 the Master of the Day of Doom. 4 Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid. 5 Keep us on the right path. 6 The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
