And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant. 31 And We knowingly chose them, among all others of their time. 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 Yet those who deny the truth say, 34 "That [which is ahead of us] is but our first [and only] death, and we shall not be raised to life again. 35 "Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" 36 What! Are they better than the people of Tubba and those who were before them? We destroyed them because they were guilty of sin. 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We did not create them except in Truth. But most of them do not know. 39 The appointed time for all of them will be the Day of Judgment 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Except him on whom Allah has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 42
