Seest thou one who turns back, 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
