The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
