Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray. 116 They call upon instead of Him none but female [deities], and they [actually] call upon none but a rebellious Satan. 117 The one whom Allah has cursed; and the devil said, “I swear, I will certainly take an appointed portion of Your bondmen,” – 118 And surely I will lead them and will fill them with vain desires, and I will command them so that they will slit the ears of the cattle, and I will command them so that they will alter the creation of Allah. And whosoever taketh Satan for a patron, instead of Allah, shall surely suffer a manifest loss. 119 Satan promises them and arouses desire in them. But Satan does not promise them except delusion. 120 Such people will dwell in hell fire from which they will not be able to escape. 121 But those who believe and do good works We shall admit them to Gardens underneath which rivers flow, and there they shall live for ever, the promise of Allah is true. And who is truer in speech than Allah! 122 Not your desires, nor those of the People of the Book (can prevail): whoever works evil, will be requited accordingly. Nor will he find, besides Allah, any protector or helper. 123 Whoever does good and believes -whether he is male or female - such shall enter the Garden, and they shall not be wronged in the slightest. 124 And who can be better in religion than he who submitteth his countenance unto Allah, and is sincere, and followeth the faith of Ibrahim, the upright. And Allah took Ibrahim for a friend. 125 And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah, of all things, encompassing. 126
