The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
