O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you; and of Me, Me alone, should you be afraid. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth [i.e. Muhammad Peace be upon him is Allah's Messenger and his qualities are written in your Scriptures, the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] while you know (the truth). 42 Establish your prayers, pay the obligatory charity, and bow with those who bow. 43 ۞ Command ye mankind to piety and forget yourselves, the while ye read the Book! Understand then ye not! 44 Seek you help in patience and prayer, for grievous it is, save to the humble 45 who are certain of their meeting with their Lord and their return to Him. 46
