The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls. 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 and a few from later times. 14 On studded thrones. 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 The reward for what they did. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and continuous shade, 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
