۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
