Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
