Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
