▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
