Call upon those whom you set up beside God! They possess not an atom's weight either in the heavens or on the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor has He any helpers among them. 22 No intercession with Him will be of any benefit except that of those whom He has granted permission. The angels cannot intercede. They are always submissive to their Lord. Fear vanishes from their heart when (they receive a message from their Lord). They ask each other, "What did your Lord say?" Others answer, "He spoke the Truth. He is the Most High and the Most Great." 23 ۞ Say thou: who provideth food for you from the heavens and the earth? Say thou: Allah; verily either we or ye are on the guidance or in error manifest. 24 Say, "You will not be asked about what we committed, and we will not be asked about what you do." 25 Say, “Our Lord will bring us all together, and then judge truthfully between us; and He is the Best Judge, the All Knowing.” 26 Say: 'Show me those whom you joined with Him as associates; no, indeed; rather He is Allah, the Almighty, the Wise. 27 (O Prophet), We have not sent you forth but as a herald of good news and a warner for all mankind. But most people do not know. 28 and so they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection and judgment] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 29 Say: “Your day is appointed, you can neither hold back its coming by an hour, nor hasten it by an hour.” 30
