[But,] verily for the God-conscious there is supreme fulfilment in store: 31 Gardens and grapeyards; 32 And graceful maidens of the same age, 33 and overflowing cups. 34 No empty talk will they hear in that [paradise,] nor any lie. 35 A reward from your Lord – a grossly sufficient bestowal. 36 Lord of the heavens and earth, and all that between them is, the All-merciful of whom they have no power to speak. 37 On the Day when the Spirit and the angels stand in ranks, no one will speak, except for those to whom the Lord of Mercy gives permission, and who will say only what is right. 38 That is without doubt the True Day, so, whosoever wills, let him seek a place with (or a way to) His Lord (by obeying Him in this worldly life)! 39 Lo! We warn you of a doom at hand, a day whereon a man will look on that which his own hands have sent before, and the disbeliever will cry: "Would that I were dust!" 40
