Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
