Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 and what you do not see 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
Almighty Allah's Truth.
