The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
