The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
