Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
