The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
