(Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 and the night when it retreats 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 A warning to mortals, 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
