The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
