The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
