Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
