We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
