The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
