And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
