The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
