Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
