Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
