The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
