We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night.
