The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 When their brother Lot said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 161 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 “What! Among all the creatures, you commit the immoral acts with men?” 165 instead of your wives, whom your Lord has created specially for you? You are a transgressing people." 166 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Lot, thou shalt assuredly be one of the expelled.' 167 He said: verily I am of those who abhor your work. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 We saved him and all of his family, 170 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 171 Then We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained on them a rain. So ill was the rain on those warned? 173 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175
