The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
