۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
