AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
