The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 in endless columns! 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
