And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 that they earned did not avail them. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an. 87 Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers. 88 And say: Lo! I, even I, am a plain warner, 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 (So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say. 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain. 99
