Hizb 46
< random >
Verily Jonah is one of the apostles. 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand or more people. 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 Now ask thou them: are there for thy Lord daughters and for them sons? 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 “Or do you have some clear proof?” 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 They assert kinship between Him and the angels. But the angels know that they (the liars) will be arraigned (in Hell). 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 can lure away from God any 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 And there were those who said, 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 Yet (now that it is come) they disbelieve therein; but they will come to know. 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 That they verily would be made triumphant. 172 and that Our hosts shall triumph. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Then for Our punishment are they impatient? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
