The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
